Welcome to my online birthday party for Diane!!!






















I must confess that I've never given one before, so
I got to wondering how I could make an internet 
birthday cake--

That's when I came up with the idea of  making 
a silk flower cake...It is 14 in. x 14 in.  


             Happy Birthday, Diane!
     (May you be touched by stardust!)


And now, here is my entry for the challenge.  As a prompt 
for Mixed Media Monday, Diane told us that she wanted us 
to use the theme "Something Old," so that got me to thinking about "Something old, something new"--what brides need for weddings....

So, I made a digital bridal collage with images from the 
Graphics Fairy, then added commercial papers mounted
on watercolor paper and put the completed piece in this 
heart-shaped frame.
